SSMO, short for Summer Solstice Math Olympiad, is a contest that will be held on the summer solstice. Some FAQs and general info is below.

Math Formulas

This is a free math contest for anyone under the age of 17, with problems ranging from AMC8 - AIME difficulty. The SSMO will be hosted online over Zoom. Contestants can submit answers through a google form.

SSMO is a four round math contest that takes place on 6/21/2023. First are two individual rounds - the speed and accuracy rounds - then two team rounds - the team and relay rounds. The first round is the speed round, in which you are given 20 minutes to solve 10 questions. Next round is the accuracy round, in which you are given 40 minutes to solve 10 questions. In the following two rounds, you can collaborate with your team on problems. In the team round, you are given an hour to solve 15 problems. In the each of the 5 relay rounds, you are given 10 minutes to solve 3 problems, in which the answer to each problem relies on the answer to the previous problem.
